| Top Spot for Fun at Lake Buchanan Ready for a great family vacation? Come to The Edgewater, a waterfront resort on beautiful Lake Buchanan, the largest of the upper four Highland Lakes in the Texas Hill Country. We are only 60 minutes northwest of Austin and about 90 minutes north of San Antonio. The owners, Ray, Wayne, Angie and Gary McCasland are in the process of renovating the resort and are constantly making improvements that our guests will appreciate. Like to fish? Lake Buchanan is the perfect place to catch catfish or that trophy striped bass you dream about. You can fish from our lighted fishing pier, our shore, your boat, or a fishing guide's boat. Fishing guides are available locally to take you out on Lake Buchanan. We provide a fish-cleaning station with water hoses and drain. |

| Our Boat Ramp Our handy boat ramp makes it easy to launch your boat for a day of fun on the lake. We are lucky to have a launch that is accessible even at the lowest lake levels for crafts of all sizes. |
| Recreation Room |
| There is plenty of room for everyone in our spacious Recreation Room with seating and tables for approx. 75 people. Do you like to play pool or shuffleboard? Do you like to gather around the piano and sing old favorites? If you prefer instead to read, watch TV, or play poker, all are provided for you. The recreation room is available to all guests of the Edgewater from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. (unless it has been reserved in advance for a private party). The recreation room is also available for rent to the public for $150 per day. The fully-furnished kitchen area of the recreation room includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffeemaker for your convenience. Our guests really seem to enjoy our recreation room, and there have been numerous family reunions hosted here. |
| Our Swimming Pool Our swimming pool is located next to the recreation room for those who prefer swimming in a pool instead of swimming in the lake. It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. |
